What Ovenbell text alerts are
Ovenbell text alerts is a marketing text program run by Ovenbell, which Wild West Labs LLC operates. Home bakers and other small food sellers take orders on their pages at ovenbell.com. Their customers can sign up there for automated marketing texts from Ovenbell announcing when the seller opens orders, or for one text when a sold-out item is back in stock.
How to sign up
On a seller's page at ovenbell.com, enter a US mobile number and tick the box for Ovenbell text alerts. The box is never ticked for you, and signing up is optional: it is not a condition of purchase. Right after you sign up, Ovenbell sends a welcome text that names the program and explains how to stop. If you signed up before text alerts started, Ovenbell texts you once to confirm, and alerts start only after you reply Y.
What you receive and how often
Order-opening texts announce that a seller has opened orders, at most one a day from each seller you follow. A back-in-stock text is sent once, for the item you asked about. Texts go out between 8 AM and 8 PM in the seller's time zone. Message and data rates may apply.
Order-opening and back-in-stock texts start with the seller's name, end with "Via Ovenbell" and link to the seller's page on ovenbell.com, for example: "Pepper Street Bakehouse: orders are open for Saturday Sourdough! ovenbell.com/pepper-street-s1 Reply UNSUB PEPPERSTREETS1 to stop, STOP for all. Via Ovenbell". The welcome and confirmation texts start with "Ovenbell text alerts".
How to stop or get help
Reply UNSUB and the seller's keyword shown in its texts to stop that seller's texts. Reply STOP to stop all Ovenbell texts, and START to turn them back on. Reply HELP for help, or email support@ovenbell.com. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Who sends the texts
Ovenbell writes and sends every text from its toll-free number, (844) 848-6836. This number is used only by Ovenbell; no seller sends texts from it. Sellers cannot write or send texts, add phone numbers to text alerts, or see the full numbers of people who sign up for texts. Mobile numbers and text consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing.
