What happened
to Castiron.

In November 2024, T.D. Jakes Enterprises announced it had acquired Castiron to launch a new platform called Nourysh. The announcement didn't say what would happen to existing Castiron shops. Read the announcement.

When we checked on October 5, 2026, Castiron's shop addresses, shop.castiron.me and shopcastiron.com, no longer loaded, and its iPhone app was no longer in the App Store.

If your customers knew you by a Castiron link, that link is gone. Whatever you choose next, put your shop on a domain you own.

before you move.

Is Castiron still available?

No longer, as far as we can tell. When we checked on October 5, 2026, Castiron’s shop addresses (shop.castiron.me and shopcastiron.com) no longer loaded, and its iPhone app was no longer in the App Store.

How much does Ovenbell cost?

$19 a month or $190 a year, after a 30-day free trial; a card is required to start it. Ovenbell adds no fee to your orders. Card payments go through your own Stripe account at Stripe’s standard 2.9% + $0.30.

Can I keep my own web address?

Yes. Connect a domain you own and your Ovenbell shop opens there. If you ever move again, the address goes with you, so customers and printed signs keep working.

Can Ovenbell take presales and custom orders?

Yes. Drops open and close on schedule, with pickup windows and limits, and customers on your list get email and text alerts when orders open. For custom orders, customers send a request, you send a quote and collect a deposit, and any change to a confirmed order needs your customer’s approval.

What happens after Ovenbell’s free trial?

Your first 30 days are free. A card is required, and the monthly plan is $19 after the trial. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.
