Hi, I’m Anita Olinga.

There’s something magical about watching someone taste something that you made and their face lights up. And then they nod and smile. I’m a self taught cook/baker. I grew up in the Midwest, where most food was monochromatic. I’ve had plenty of disasters in the kitchen, but I’ve also had those magical moments. When someone says “your gumbo reminds me of Naw Lins” or just last week “my husband lived in Italy and he says your focaccia is authentic”. Feeding people good food is a mitzvah.
